Amicable and attentive staff, wake up service and ironing free of charge. The rooms neat, newly remodelled with a very comfortable bed, fab shower, for instance. Savoury breakfast at 9.20am and with perfect food available.

Wonderful hotel with garden views of the mountain and lovely and charming staff. Exceptional and enjoyable room, a good shower and a rainfall shower in the room. Amazing, incredible location in the lovely area. Reasonably priced food in the restaurants such as Tiger Lin, located 5 min away. Brilliant service during our fabulous stay. Modern facilities, parking nearby.

I've stayed here before and generally. This is my 4th stay. The standard of the rooms is very good and the staff are very friendly. I had a larger room this time and as such enjoyed my stay greatly. I prefer this hotel to the larger annonymous chain hotels.

Charming, Charming, Charming
I fell in love with the cozy vibe of my Classic Double Room, which perfectly blended modern comfort with unique, historical decor. The dining experience at the Bothy restaurant was great, with good local flavors that had my taste buds dancing! Plus, the staff were so engaging, sharing fun historical tidbits about the area, I seemed like part of a little community!

Good breakfast, staff, room was very clean.
The city center is far away on foot, by bus quickly, at night the room was very cold, the water in the shower is cold and hot.

The staff were extremely helpfull. The location was excellent and the breakfast was lovely however, our room could have done with modernising and there was bare plaster on the walls. Other than this we enjoyed our stay.
Rooms in the Lodge need modernising and the bare plater could do with a lick of paint!
